Remember people, Swans love Underdog Games.
Just wait and see, and set yourself Cats fans.

It does look easy on paper, but every week Geelong continue to win also increases the odds of them losing a game, its unlikely they will play until year end unbeaten. And in my books, I would rather they lose a few "easier" games and win the bigger ones. ie, lose to Sydney but then have good following wins over Essendon and Collingwood in front of much bigger crowds in Melbourne.

Geelong have done a lot recently to show us that they are serious, but is it every enough, or is that ultimately only decided late September? And we all know the answer to that - is only known late September.

i have a sneaky feeling Sydney will win this game.

they MUST win this game to get their season back on track.
otherwise, i can barely see them making the final 8.

Mr.PeterTexas, How in the hell can you classify Swans as an easy team?
No team can take the Swans easy as they NEVER give in.
I'm pretty sure all people on this forum can agree with that.
You never have the Swans beaten until the final siren.

In context, what I was saying was that playing Geelong at Geelong at the moment, must be the toughest challenge for any team in the AFL. And you will note I said that on paper, it looks easy but then went on to say that no such game is really "easy". Sydney have won six games this year, and three of those wins were over 3 of the bottom 4 sides, so nothing special there. However Sydney did beat Hawthorn and lost against both West Coast and Essendon by just a point, so a little unlucky in those. They certainly should have done better against Collingwood, so I am not sure exactly where they are at. And now the game is over, and Geelong have won, it was a fairly comfortable win for them. The Swans will now really struggle to even make the finals, being two games outside the the eight!
