Can't wait, will be one of the games of the year. AFL are shooting themslelves in the foot not playing it at the G. Ridiculous with a capitol R.

Hawks coming off the break will have an advantage, but Rocca tends to fire against them.

Hawthorn in a thriller at this stage. One of the main questions is which one of the Hawthorn talls' turn is it for a bag?

Agreed with everything you wrote here. Here was a chance for 80,000 people to see this game. Same thing when Geelong play Essendon Saturday next, its at Telstra Dome. At least the week after that, Geelong play Collingwood at the MCG, and watch that end up being a sellout.

Default Rocca Huge Loss

Depsite all the bagging A Rocca gets from his own supporters and others he is Collingwoods most important player. Not out best but most valuable. He is up there in contested marks in the league and does a lot of the 1%ers. So with him out I think Hawthorn would have to start favourites. Also with Clement, Presti, OBrien and Shaw missing from our backline the Hawks have enough forwards even without Williams to kick a winning score. Great to see two Vic teams in a game of the round and lets hope as many vic teams as possible can make the 8.

Have to agree with all that. What a pity the league has decided to turn AFL footy into netball. Anyway, I couldn't see us winning this week without all those players in but I'd be staking my house on a big win if we were at full strength.
