Default Ouch,that one hurt.

OUCH OUCH OUCH

The Cats shore did give us a football lesson on Saturday night. It was always going to be a tough game to win but i didnt THINK IT WOULD BE such a big margin.
Geelong have changed gears now and are going to dish out a few floggings to other teams besides the Eagles in the other half of the year if they are not on their game...can they be silenced or will Geelong win another G.F in 08...Hats of to them

West Coast Eagles supporters will keep their heads up and take the good with the bad as we all know that we will be a force again in a few years time and to get this sort of treatment from top sides like Geelong at the moment is part and parcell of it.....

To all the Eagles players -Keep your heads up and bust a gut to make this club, your club a better club.

....--.YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE. (LIVERPOOL THEME)

Sad times.

Losses just don't have that same sting this season for me, even last night which was the most ridiculous thumping the club has ever got (hate to think how big it would've been had the game been held at M.C.G/Skilled/T.D). When WC were finals/premiership contenders, I'd be really disappointed if we lost. I think now I've just accepted where the clubs at (no chance at finals this season) and until the midfield develops and is rebuilt to be a force again with dominant, game-breaking players, we won't be realistically challenging for a premiership.

Even though i make threads and post about the boys i to have accepted it as a normal thing that is going to happen and i dont get upset about it(try not to).Any wins we get this year is a bonus and its a learning curve for the young boys that we are trying to rebuild this club with in terms of game time spent at AFL level ect.I will still watch and cheer the boys no doubt.
It was also great to see most supporters at the game Friday night still their after the final siren sounded in support of the Eagles..

I think we need to build more than just a gun-middy again, our forward line needs a revamp ect.Time for a change imo.

The joy of being a supporter. I can't think of any club over the years that hasn't been in the same position.
